I have nearly 20 years of clinical experience in Psychiatry.
I qualified in 1999 from St Bartholomew’s and the Royal London Medical School, University of London. I trained in Psychiatry, first at South London and Maudsley and then the Royal Free and UCH. I am passionate about Psychiatry and helping people get access to the treatment and care that they need.
Since becoming a Consultant in 2010 I have assessed and treated a wide variety of conditions -psychosis, bipolar affective disorder, depression, anxiety, OCD, personality disorders, women’s health including perinatal care.
I have a particular interest in psychotherapy – psychodynamic, systemic and mindfulness based practice – which I use to help people make sense of their current situation alongside pharmacological interventions.
