I trained in Medicine at Dow Medical College (Karachi, Pakistan) qualifying in 1999. I am a Hull and East Yorkshire trained psychiatrist, Certified in General Adult and Rehabilitation Psychiatry from Yorkshire Deanery (2007). I have a Masters level education in Population Health and Medical Leadership, and Medical Education. In 2015 I received a Fellowship of the Royal College of Psychiatrists (FRCPsych).
I have more than 12 years of experience as a Consultant Adult Psychiatrist in the West Midlands and currently in the Humber region since March 2019.
My clinical approach is patient-centered and holistic combining pharmacotherapy and psychodynamic thinking. My areas of expertise include Mood and Anxiety Disorders and adult ADHD. I am also a certified Executive Coach and Mentor; ILM-7, 2019.
I am multilingual with fluency in Arabic, Sindhi and Urdu.
